    You can go one of 2 ways.
    #1 Cover with linoleum which is easy clean and will last a few years and is pretty cheap + easy to install.
    #2 You can get a sheet of galvanized sheet metal from a heating/cooling contractor or sheet metal shop. They can also cut it to size. It will last a lot of years if cleaned and washed down with a baking soda solution. After sweeping out, wet with water, sprinkle with baking soda, scrub lightly with a brush. All you want to do is spread the soda around to neutralize the acid. ( Uric acid )
